I purchased this $60 machine on sale and STILL took it back. For a single cup maker, it's awfully big. It takes as much space as my 12-cup maker. The hard plastic exterior wasn't "fused" together properly, so it leaked in various places. I ignored this thinking that there would be redeeming qualities. After putting my oh-so-cool pod in to make my first cup o' java, the machine sputtered (yes, it sputtered) for a few seconds before the luke warm water ran through...creating a luke warm cup of coffee. I'm no coffee expert, but I would *think* that to maximize the richness of the beans (grounds), you'd want to have the water hot. I would NOT recommend this to anyone.

Have been using the Melitta Fast Brew for about 6 months and it's the best brew yet. Either it is good or we ahve learned the right way.... but I think the credit goes to the machine.
