01/07/2006 | Singing used to be done by singers. Have you ever heard of Doris Day, Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Patsy Cline, Jo Stafford, Dinah Washington blah blah blah? Now singing is done by screechers like Mariah Carey, who has never met a song she didn't ruin. Real singers put their egos in the back seat and let the song do the driving. Ms. Carey uses songs to show off what she thinks is her virtuoso talent of climbing up and down the scale while belting out as many decibels as an air-raid siren. Speaking of sirens, she isn't one, although she thinks she is. Realizing her lack of singing talent, the people that market her decorate her CD's with racy pictures that wake up 13-year-old boys' woodies. Invest in enough silicone, botox and other plastics, and you can make almost any dame look half decent. Then again, putting lipstick on a pig don't mean it still ain't a pig.

04/09/2005 | well well... very wealthy, really hot and talented... but just a wee bit off her rocker... considering Fern has her moments were she belongs at one of those get away camps Mariah went to I'm gonna say Mariah really puts a good showing in... sorry Fern Im gonna have to go with Mariah... but I'll do my best to get you a job working on her legal team okay?
