 | Gentle Jude (25) 04/23/2005 | They should have more consideration for people. It is OK to have loud parties, but no later then 1am on a weekend or 10pm on a week night. Just as long as they aren't aggressive. Some loud parties are loud because of the music. But some (these are the sort which I really hate) are loud because you can hear idiots getting drunk, swearing loudly, acting aggressive, smashing beer bottles and even getting into fights and shouting and screaming. These parties are the worst because they can actually make you feel frightened in your own home, especially if you were a single, old woman. One of those drunkards may decide to break into your house or break your windows by throwing rocks at it or starting trouble. If there wasn't alcohol involved, these sorts of parties probably wouldn't happen nearly as often.

Families complained, but my answer was always the same: You moved next to a college- deal with it. We're not going anywhere. . . .and me and my housemates were probably replaced with worse incarnations of ourselves. . .
