I wore my Marine Corps Dress Blues to my brother's wedding and ended up banging a bridesmaid. Classy, huh?

Some things are just plain common sense.

I think it's a lack of a logic, rather than class!

Eh, depends on the occasion. I just interviewed a guy an hour ago for a professional job, and he was wearing t-shirt and blue jeans. He's good though, so I'm hiring him. Don't underdress if you're going to funeral--that's tacky.

Not really that big of a deal, unless of course you come to a funeral dressed in a clown suit or something of that sort.

I don't know about this. My in-laws are formal people, and one year for christmas, I wore Old jeans, flannel shirt and work boots. Everyone kept looking at me up and down like they were judging me, but funny thing. Next christmas, guess what everyone was wearing?

I abide by whatever dress code exists wherever I go because: 1. I need to work for a living and 2. I really don't enjoy looking like an idiot (even when I may act like one occasionally). Other than that, I dictate my own fashion which usually boils down to these few considerations; how comfortable is it, how well does it mix with other pieces, how long will it last, how much does it cost and do I like it.

I think people are far too judgemental when it comes to clothing. Once you learn the fashion trend, it goes out of date. Some people are obsessed with wearing the right things. I don't really care. But it is one of those things which other people get very critical of, so to me, it is not a big deal at all, it is just embarrassing, because I don't want people to look down on me. But it can be classless if you ware shorts and things to a fancy restaurant or wear jeans and a tank top to this big board meeting or an executive job interview. This doesn't make a good impression of a person.

Depending on the occasion. If you go to church or a PTA meeting dressed like Paris Hilton I would say that is classless. Now that I think about it if you went anywhere dressed like Paris Hilton that would be classless!

It's okay to not know, but it helps to ask. It may be pretty classless to miss the obvious ones, though (like wearing a hawaiian shirt and shorts to a funeral or something).

Not knowing does not indicate lack of class. Knowing and dressing inappropriately anyway shows a lack of class.

I am not a clothing horse nor could I afford to go out a buy a bunch of outfits. I suppose it is nice to dress for certain occasions but for me i do the best with what i have got. if someone does not like my dress style tough.
