CS wants to introduce federal legistlation for "TAKE IT OUTSIDE". . .My fellow Americans- if you can't drink in peace please don't kill the buzz of the other bar patrons. . .I see much more of this in bars than I did 5-10 years ago- people just can't relax and drink anymore. . .best words in a bar outside of "yes, let's go to your place" is "TAKE IT OUTSIDE" - worst three things to hear are "last call" and "No" of course there is "I like you as a friend". . .someone needs to make that list. . .

If you have to have a dispute, I think you should wait until you get into the privacy of your own home.

Let’s be honest, most of the things we argue about are useless and senseless. Nine times out of ten we always feel stupid afterwards, so why air it to everyone else!!!

Nobody wants to hear you air your dirty laundry. Fighting in public makes those in the area uncomfortable and wish they were elsewhere.

There are other places to do that...and, if you're THAT scared to fight with that person in private, maybe you should just leave or go to the police station and have THEM make sure nothing happens to you. Believe me, I'VE gone to the cops for a witness during a conversation before...

It all depends on what the situation is. If someone started something with you and you are defending yourself within reason ie yelling is a last resort thing, then this can't be helped. But if you see eg two check out girls having a bitch fight or see a family having their big fights in the middle of the shops where there is all this yelling and swearing, or boyfriend/girlfriend fight, then this classless. It sounds horrible to listen too and it is threatening behaviour in public, to swear and yell. It doesn't set a good example for children.

I can't stand fighting or arguing in private any more than I can stand it in public--people need to calmly discuss their differences, not yell--or worse.

Only if someone wants to start an argument or a fight in public. But if you argue or fight back, that's not classless.
