 | Loerke (52) 01/22/2008 | Ha, I'm amazed at all the fellas below who think lust is a "problem": speak for yourselves! What I'm more worried about is the teenage girls who think they have to dress like the Pussycat Dolls. Some people in the Middle East look at American women and actually conclude that the women here are less "free." I strongly disagree but I can see the dilemma: we men want to see women in sexually enticing clothes, but do women really want to do it? Trust me, no one wants to see me in sexually enticing clothes -- not even for HelloKitty's RIA Costume Party!

 | MissPackRat4Jesus (42) 01/22/2008 | It's bad enough that lust happens to those who dress modestly. Why help it along?

 | Mad Hatter (38) 02/26/2007 | Depends on the venue and how "enticing" their clothing is.

 | gollygwiz (0) 01/21/2006 | The only way this lacks class is if the woman absolutely does not have the body to wear said clothing. It helps alot in the workplace too!

 | kamylienne (80) 05/06/2005 | I guess this would depend on where they're going. If they're going out to a club, I guess I would expect them to dress a little more provacatively. Wearing the same outfit to work, or to a funeral, though, WOULD be classless.

 | Gentle Jude (25) 04/17/2005 | It is not necessarily always a classless thing (depends how they are dressed), it is more of an ignorance and even selfish thing. The female body is beautiful for a male to look at. That is the problem. That is why women have the burden of dressing appropriately because of the fact that males are a lot more lustful then women and unlike a woman, they can get sexually aroused just by looking at a stranger. Women often don't realise that some of the way they dress actually does this. But some women know that guys may get attracted to their looks but they think 'I have every right to dress the way I want.' That's why the Apostle Paul warns us 'Everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial' and 'Do not let the expression of your freedom be a stumbling block for the weak and if you do, you are not walking in love.' If women dress in these above knee hight skirts, slip off sandals, tight top, they are actually causing men to commit adultery. Because if you so much as look at a woman with a lustful desire for her, this is a bad thing. They should dress more moderately. It also depends where they are too. If they are at the beach or a pool, then this is OK, but wearing a knee hight skirt and slip off sandals and a tight top is not the sort of thing you should ware to the shops or even at work, like a lot of women do. In the Bible, there was a special emphasis for the dress code of a woman. The reason why the Bible targets women like this is because of the fact that men are more lustful and easily tempted in that area. It is not to oppress women, but to keep the purity of the males.

 | cutegurl (17) 04/16/2005 | Yea, ladies cover up because most of the decent people on the earth don't really want to see what it is your showing. You just look really stupid.

 | Randyman (109) 04/16/2005 | There is a differance between sexy and vulgar. Vulgar is classless, at least in my book.

 | ClassicTVFan47 (38) 04/16/2005 | On the whole, there is nothing classless about this whatsoever. The female body is, simply put, wonderous and certaintly women have the right to show it off in public.

 | CastleBee (85) 04/12/2005 | The trouble with this idea is that it can mean so many things. For instance, you have guys who think almost anything passes as enticing. You also have young women who think they're just trying to look pretty and haven't realized the full implication of it all yet. Then you have just about every other idea or attitude in between. One thing I really don't understand is why is the burden of proper dress always on the shoulders of women? Men do similar things but are rarely ever chided for it. Personally I think going around with your body parts about to pop out of your clothes - whether you are male or female - is silly and uncomfortable looking. But, leering at it and salivating is just as classless.

 | Donovan (137) 04/12/2005 | My question is simply why do women do this, is it for attention? I think this should be reserved for the bedroom with your wife only.

 | helmut (16) 04/11/2005 | Innocence? My foot! When I see a woman showing too much I think she is probably trying to get attention. Whether they realize it or not is another thing. True, I know some girls that started dressing like that when they first developed because they were naïve and just wanted guys to like them. They did not understand the sexual implications that went along with dressing that way and when you pair that with a little neglect on the parent's part, you get a girl who gets involved with sex way too early. No, I don't think this was the only factor. I also think it had something to do with the fact that she had a crappy father figure and was subconsiously looking for attention from other men. But, I saw it happen to a sweet girl, and vowed to never let it happen to my daughter(s). However, if I saw a grown woman dressing like that, innocent would not be the word I would use to discribe her.
