04/18/2005 | It is especially bad to be disrespectful to an older person because of the fact they physically need more help then a younger person and the fact that they are more experienced and have been on the earth longer. But at the same time, elders shouldn't lord it over young people, in fact, they should also show respect and humility. There are some old people out there who cut lines, are rude to people, push people out the way, take their time doing things. Some of them are like this because of the fact they have an attitude that this world ows them something, or they see younger people as being inferior.

04/14/2005 | i guess they just say that because elders have more experience and know more. but that's not always true. just because people are young does'nt mean they are not as experienced or knowlegeble as their elders

04/13/2005 | Nahhh, not really. I don't respect that many old people because many of them are hostile to me. I was on an elevator at the Empire Building the other night and some 85-year old grouchy woman chided me for getting in her way. So I told her to calm down you old wrinkled thing. You might not be alive within 10 minutes! Ha! Ha! Ha! She got pissed and hit me with her friggin' cane! She belongs in a nursing home. ... I love making fun of old people. HA!
