03/11/2006 | Average, you can't go wrong with it. Far better than the well-rum some bars try to to sneak in on you. With Coke and a twist of lime, you're good to go.

08/09/2005 | I'm a white rum drinker. I enjoy Bacardi's Orange, Raspberry and Limon Rum. It's very enjoyable mixed with Gingerale or 7-Up. Coke leaves that 'fuzzy' feeling on your teeth that I hate *lol*.

07/25/2005 | We have to differentiate the specific blends of rums when people give their opinions. I have had good and bad Bacardi, so please be specific as to the type of rum your commenting on thanks.
Having said that, I was in the Dom. Rep. and became a fan of amber anejo Brugal. An aquaintance (who used to work for Bacardi) suggested I try Bacardi's amber Anejo. Unfortunately the liquor stores don't carry that particular rum where I live but replaced it with an 8 year amber/gold rum which I did try. This I found to be very easy drinking, smooth and silky, nice flavours, little after-taste, an all occassion drink. Though at this point in my research I still prefer the full bodied flavour of Matusalem.
I do enjoy Bacardi's Ciclon amber rum (infused with 10% tequilla & lime juice) both straight and mixes well with anything, especially fruit juices, sprite/7-up.

06/18/2003 | This is what idiots drink when they don't know how to pick out rum. It's cheap, horrible rum that gives a bad hangover. Go with Cap'n Morgan's or VooDoo Rum for the good stuff.

11/29/2002 | Bacardi (light) is my ultimate drink (always mixed with Coke). I usually add a lime on the side (with the lime, it's called a Cuba Libre). I can drink about six to eight in a night, and have a great time. Bacardi Rum is the only alcohol that no matter how many times I get sick off of it, I can still drink it time and again. As far as alcohol goes, Bacardi Rum is also one of the cheaper name brand liquors you can buy. I've tried many other brands of Rum, and Bacardi is by far the best.

12/17/2000 | Bacardi Rum was my favorite hard liquor when I use to party a lot. I could mix Bacardi with anything and it would be at least drinkable, if not great. I have a lot of good memories of partying with friends with Bacardi.
