This comes from the oldest rum maker in the world and it comes from Barbados. If it is not 151 rum, I drink Barbados rum. I drink it straight. No ice--no mix--just booze.

For you geography buffs, the label has a map of Barbados. The rum is a darker rum.

My rum of choice. Not too heavy, but with nice body. Makes some others (Captain Morgan) seem like cough syrup.

Outstanding. Very smooth. Did side-by-side comparison with Bacardi Gold and Mount Gay Barbados is leagues beyond.

The Extra Old is perhaps the finest Barbados rum, with Cockburns VSOR a close second

As a fan of dark rums, this is by far the best tasting rum available. It's so smooth and sweet and warms you up a treat.

This is a great tasting rum, I went to the distillery in Barbados and did some sampling there and saw that they know what they are doing and take great pride in their product. That is one island where they drink "rum punch" like we consume orange juice...It was never too early or too late to order a Mount Gay.
