I hate this guy, but he's one of the league's clutch bombers. What he did to my Knicks in the playoffs was remarkable, but I hated him for that. In Game 5 of the '94 Eastern Finals, I sat atop the teal seats when he jawed at Spike Lee. He bagged 5 treys that quarter, but fortunately we took that series. He got his revenge in 1995 what turned out to be a bitter day. ... Overall, he's one of the best playoff performers ever, but he did too many acting jobs by flopping and getting away with it. Too bad he won't win a title.

Most exciting clutch shooter of all time, ask any NY fan! By the way, Jordan's Bulls Sucked!

He is great. He is going to the hall of fame. His career isn't flawless, but anyone giving him lower than a 3 needs to give their head a shake, because even on this list, he is anything but average.

I think Reggie's good and all, but I strongly prefer Michael Jordan over him and I would choose Jordan over him any day.

I used to respect Reggie Miller. I thought he was a hall of fame caliber player, a guy who always gave 100% and was clutch when it counted. Last night, however, in the second game of Indiana's playoff versus the Celtics, I saw a completely different side of Reggie. In the first half he was trying to draw fouls, falling on the ground from as much as a slight breeze from an opposing player. I had no problem with this - Reggie has always been an actor and has been good at drawing fouls and getting the other team upset and taking them out of the game. Last night though he wasn't getting those calls and he started whining like a little girl. I was really getting surprised watching him. And with 2 seconds left in the half I saw it all. Jumaine Jones heaved up a last second prayer from 3 quarters down the court, and Reggie stuck his leg out and tripped him. He didn't try and hide it or anything; it was a blatant move out of anger and frustration. I was yelling at the screen - what a punk. He got a technical foul but should have been suspended from the game. I would expect that type of play from 2 people - a rookie or Dennis Rodman. Rodman has long since retired and taken his antics with him, and Reggie Miller is in his 17th season. Miller will be regarded as one of the best to play the game, but he'll get no such respect from me. He's a coward who I hope will never get the satisfaction of an nba championship.

The fact that people hate him so much is a testament to hoew good he really is. He did much more with much weaker teams. Down by 15 in the fourth who else would you rather have? I would take 1 Reggie over 2 Jordans in that situation and the history books go to prove it! p.s. loyatly goes a LONG way!

Gets no respect because of the small market of Indiana, but as far as all-time leading scorers for shooting guards, he is #4 on the list. Right up there with Jerry West and Michael Jordan. And just like those guys he comes through when the game is on the line.

I am at a lack of words to describe my animosity and hatred toward Reggie (being an avid Knicks fan). Coming off screens, if he gets touched, he goes flying to the ground, doing some stupid acting job. Two horrid memories I have embedded in my mind are when he went off for 25 points in the fourth quarter of game 5 of the 1994 Eastern Conference Finals at the Garden, including several 3-pointers, and when he scored that birage of points in the last 16 seconds of game 1 of the 1995 Eastern Conference Semifinals at the Garden. I just don't like the guy's attitude, but it is admirable that he is the leader in all-time 3-point field goals.

More than 2000 3P made, more than 21.000 points- exciting career- he is really on the right place, surely future hall of fame member, one of the best SGs in the NBA history. He still got game! My guru and mental leader! :-) Really my best player!

Reggie has pretty much been a one dimensional player throughout his career and his Oscar-worthy flops and incessant taunting have always been pretty annoying (probably because I am a Knicks fan). But, I guess he has been one of the best shooters in NBA history and certainly one of the better clutch performers over the last 20 years.
