i agree with gothic pride some of us are disrespect full becuase thats the only way to get people to stop trying to understand us we don't have to justify our selves for them!

Some goths are disrespectful and some aren't. I happen to be a disrespectful because I have my reasons to be. maybe if you guys would stop talking about how bad we are all of the time some of us wouldn't be so disrespectful.

Yes, goths can be disrespectful. But there is always a reason for this. Maybe, if we weren't loked down upon by the main social crowds, we wouldn't have a reason to be. But we are probably the most misunderstood people.

I can honestly say I have never met anyone I would consider a legitimate member of the gothic community who is also generally disrespectful. In truth, goths are no more disrespectful toward others than the general population. One might even argue that the expectation of tolerance within the subculture and the scrutiny the community is subjected to have motivated many goths to behave with more dignity and respect than their mainstream counterparts.
