 | Spike65 (12) 04/08/2008 | A great kids' show of the 50's made on a shoe-string budget. I have a photo of my sister, myself, and my little brother (as tonto) in costume pointing our respective capguns and bow & arrow at each other. Of course I was the Lone Ranger. I think my sister was Annie Oakley. Don't quite know why Annie Oakley was with us but she was included anyway. I was about 9 years old at the time. High-O-Silver....Away!

About as believable as not recognizing Clark Kent as Superman just because of a pair of glasses. Mind numbing isn't it. And we as a Nation became a superpower. What does that say about the rest of the world.

 | tocwelsh (2) 01/01/2005 | Great, especially Clayton moore, my hero that I would have loved to be, even with Tonto, kemosabi.
Those guns, the bullets, silver the horse, the mask, the whole deal.....

 | Richard Tususian (0) 08/04/2003 | This series was dropped from the Western Channel earlier this year but is coming on the Hallmark Channel. Saturday September 6 will be an all day marathon, from 6am until about 2 or 3 in the morning the next day.
Then it goes to its regular time slot, at 1-2pm on Saturday afternoons, starting the following week.

 | Patrick Dean Gimm (0) 11/01/2002 | The Lone Ranger was an absolutely wonderfull childhood memory, Clayton Moore was irreplacable as the Lone Ranger and Jay Silverheels was a fine Native American actor. The moral tales and the wonderful ideals taught by this story have sustained me for my adult life. He was sSuperman in a white hat I loved this show.

 | knowhere man (0) 06/27/2001 | I love the Lone Ranger, a true American hero who stood up for all. I was impressed to see the prejudice on the show towards Native Americans and Chinese. This was impressive for a show of its day.

 | callmetootie (4) 04/13/2001 | I don't know why, but The Lone Ranger isn't too interesting or exciting to me. It is in fact pretty boring, even though so much great effort was put into making it. The show was visually well done, but silly scripts plagued the series along with annoying characters.
