Good with a lime! Something about this beer makes me want to be on a beach, could be the tasteful marketing right? This the Miller of Mexico.

Great, good tasting beer. real solid brew that gets me and my friends drunk real good.

Tastes really skunky. Light body with no complexity, undertones or bold outstanding taste. Sadly enough I'd rather have a budweiser ( which if you want to drink crap it might as well be cheap). This beer is over price crap plus. Plus if you need to fruit beer to make it taste better something is seriously wrong.

I don't like beer, but I like Corona. I think Corona has a nice flavor that isn't at all like traditional beer- not hoppy. I also learned that mixing with grenadine is a great way to enjoy your Corona. You can usually get Corona at a good price, which should make everyone happy!

I really do not think Corona is worth drinking if it does not have a lime in it. I also think that Sol beer is a much better alternative for a Mexican beer. Anyhow, Corona has an extremely light taste, which some consider refreshing. I do not think it is really worth the hype.

Corona is a really good beer. It tastes pretty good, and it doesn't have much of an aftertaste. It is not that expensive, which adds to its appeal.

I don't like Corona, and really wouldn't like the idea of paying for it to begin with because it's a poor quality beer to me. Maybe I'll be like the Dos Equis guy. 'I don't always drink beer but when I do, I still won't drink Corona.'

If I were in Mexico and Miller was my favorite beer this is what I would drink. Without the lemon.  Corona has become a victim of it's own success. I see it stored un-refrigerated in near the beer in the cooler display. I bet this stuff would be great if you could keep it cool until you buy it. A clear glass bottle will "skunk" rather quickly if left out in the light. That's why most beers are in brown glass.  Pale yellow with a small white head. Soapy, corny, metallic, and bitter.

Good stuff. Dont forget the Lucas salt, or salt and lemon to go with it.

It's fine, I wouldn't order it ordinarily, unless it's all you have.

This was in vogue during the days I hung out in bars with my then-girlfriend, and I ordered it a few times, intrigued by the slice of lemon you added to it. Once the novelty of said lemon slice wore off (real quick, actually), I returned to my more prosaic brews.

Refreshing enough if you drink it icy cold and fast.

Worthy of 4 stars if only to leapfrog over Bud.

Go with the lime...

The beer isn't quite as bad as some popular brands, like Keystone, Natty, Bud, Coors, etc., but it comes pretty close.  Ever wonder why people always put a lime slice in the neck of the bottle?  It's to cover up the taste.  Really, if it were good beer, you wouldn't need the lime.

Also, it is damn expensive.  There are much better beers (including Mexican ones) that can be had for less.  Why not get a pack of Modelo, or Dos Equis, or Tecate, and save a couple bucks?

BEST WITH A SLICE OF LIME!

I bought a six pack of Corona. Each of us had one can. After 30 minutes we began to get headaches and felt sick. The next day we drank another Corona and experienced the same symptoms. Do I report this to the FDA?

Great Mexican beer but not my fav one.

Corona Extra pours a piss-yellow color with a little head. The taste is watered down but has a more crip taste compared to popular American domestic beers. The taste can get pretty sickening after several drinks. I would recommend this beer to anyone that only wants a few drinks on a hot summer day.

While Coors Light is my favorite, Corona is Good Stuff made by Grupo Modelo of Mexico, which is half owned by Anheuser-Busch.

I can drink Corona, but I had a taste aversion to it after a long night of drinking and playing darts.

Can't stand the stuff. I can't explain it but it has a metal like taste. I prefer Tecate

watered down piss! I dispise corona. Get a real beer, with some flavour, alcohol, and colour. The only thing its good for is chugging on a hot day if there is nothing else around and the corona is cold.

Any beer that NEEDS a lime is a waste of time. Our south of the border friends have done a great job of selling gringo's on the idea that the lime serves a more noble purpose than keeping the flies out of the beer.

Piss, I can't drink it.

I know this beer gets alot of flak from experienced beer drinkers and has a bad rep as being a "skunky beer that's only success is due to marketing techniques" ... but I must say I love the stuff! In my opinion, it's the most refreshing beer ever. Though I prefer a darker beer than this with a meal or on a warm day... on a hot day or after a hard day at work, there's nothing better than drinking an ice cold Corona. Tastes a bit sweeter than a typical light beer and has definite corn and malt flavor. At first I was weary of putting a lime in it because it sounded a little strange to me... but I tried it and ever since I think the beer tastes perfect with the lime, as if it were meant to be that way (it very well may be). I definitely recommend as a refreshing beer with a nice crisp flavor.
