This is yet another Anheuser-Busch beer that is not much different than the rest of American big name beers. Of course, Michelob tries to act more craft brew-ish with its incarnations such as Michelob AmberBock which is not as bad as most other big name American beers.

Not the worst beer I've had but definately not the best.  The bitter finish is good but it almost has a metal like aftertaste.  Would much prefer a MGD if I were to drink a mass produced beer for at least a little more flavor.

Headache, headache, headache. This is what I remember a bunch of pretentious assholes drinking back in the mid-80s - very cheesy.

This beer is just a Budweiser with a different name. It is made by Anheuser Busch, and it tastes like it too ! Any beer made by that nasty brewery needs dumped down the sink. (With the exception of Natural Ice) I do not recommend this swill to anyone. Bleah.

Sour, heavy on the stomach Budweiser. A guaranteed hangover. Spare me!!

Why not Budweiser?

I like Michelob, it is the only beer I can drink now. I have tried other beers since I started drinking michelob. The other beers seem to taste weaker to me. Michelob tastes just right.

This beer gives me a splitting headache every time I try it, but my father-in-law thinks it's quite a treat.

VERY low on the OK side. If you are going to drink a main frame Anheiser-Busch beer, this is the one. Better than Budweiser, but not by much.

I still associate Michelob with those quintessentially 80s The Night Belongs to Michelod adds with Phil Collins singing in the background. As a consequence, I think of it as the least cool beer on the planet.

An "upscale" mega beer? ack. Why not have a Budweiser?
