A few years ago, Peter Funt (Alan's son) did an updated version of this show. Co-hosting with him was Dina Eastwood (yes, Clint's wife), and before her was Suzanne Somers. It was a fun show to watch, and one would have thought that something like this would have had timeless appeal; there are a lot of prank ideas (harmless, of course) out there that could have been used. But it's also understandable that future revivals of CC may not look very hopeful, as there seems to be plenty of "hidden camera" type shows with fresh material, similar to CC, but with different twists.

But I really appreciated CC while it lasted. It was all good, clean fun.

I loved this show! Bring it back! I love how the jokes were never super mean...and it always showed ppl's reactions when they realize they're camera. Some think it's great that they were played, but others get really angry.

The best of the best....too many copy cat type shows out there now that just don't have the charm of this classic. When Peter Funts son brought it back they tried to recreate some of the original skits...some worked and others did not.

I do watch myself on such situations that are odd to me. By watching this show, I become more aware of my surroundings. I do like it, but sometimes it grows up so fast.

This was fun in the good old days when it was the only one of its kind.

This show is interesting to watch because although they play practical jokes on strangers, they aren't as mean spirited as other reality shows and there is a lighter feeling to this show.

I remember this show when I was growing up. I would never miss Alan Funt! Thanks to Peter Funt for taking over what his dad did so well! I catch the show whenever I can, and still think it's one of the funniest concepts ever imagined.

I'm happy to see that some things never change. I remember "Candid Camera" as a boy in the 70's. It's nice to see an old standard hanging with the big boys.

Besides AFV (America's Funniest Home Videos), this is the best reality show out there. A great family-friendly show (new episodes now on PAX) with always-amusing clips and tricks from current time, mixed in with some great clips from the old shows. Highly recommended!

This show is really funy (somethings can be stupid though) I think that some of the ideas are really good. It's all in good fun and that's what i like!

This is still the best program of its genre, notwithstanding Suzanne Somers. It is not mean-spirited and is just plain funny. For all the years it's been on, it has always been sure to make me laugh.

It's a shame that they had to cancel this because of Suzanne Somers and her breast cancer. She knoews how to host this show so well, and it's full of surprises and all of that great stuff. It's like the only really good reality show out there, with the exception of Big Brother.
