Lauderdale is no longer a spring break destination. The place is cleaned up pretty nice now.

Five friends and I drove there from Buffalo and by the time we left, all of our drugs and alcohol were stolen by crackheads, our wallets were stolen, we got screwed over by a travel agency, my buddy got kidnapped by a drug dealer, there was only a couple cool clubs, and finally my buddies 99' cherokee classic was stolen and crashed by locals which made it on CNN. DO NOT GO THERE....you wil regreat it.. and if you think this story is fake then your wrong because we got it on video. LATEEEEE...

Ft. Lauderdale is an excelent place to live and work but there is no more "spring-break here" - this is all upscale 5-star condos and apartments; come here to live or for a family vacation but not to party-it-up at springbreak.

Ft. Lauderdale is awesome my friends, but the party is OVER for springbreak - it is now one of the more upscale areas of South Florida.

Fort Lauderdale is the cream of the crop for Spring Break. Non-stop partying combined with tons of activities, and the wide range of people make this the best destination.

I went there with a friend and it was an awesome city. Although if it is not crowded, it tends to be boring. Be sure to be there on a busy weekend.

Good weather, pretty place, nice girls, awesome beaches. Overall, very fun!

Fort Lauderdale is more of a place for the elderly to live, and there are a few young people, but they are really annoying. It isn't the best pick for a spring break trip-but it is warm.

I would not recommend this place for Spring Break. The county made a business decision that its future lay in attracting the upscale crowd - as opposed to college kids, and have really cracked down on Spring Breakers.
