If you are flying into South Padre Island for spring break, make for sure you stay on the SOUTH end of the island (Saida or Gulfview). If you are driving, stay on the North End for a nicer condo at a better rate (Inverness or Galleon Bay). Also....we have a package there to avoid being the average chump waiting in line for 30 minutes at night. As far as minors go, paricularly be careful drinking on the beach. Padre was amazing, but the best tips I can give are these: 1) If you have a fake ID, be VERY careful w/ it, or a $275 fine is coming (but go see the judge b/c he will lower it atleast 75-100)...if you feel like testing it out at a club, go to Louies after 11 b/c there are about 25 ppl taking IDs and you can find one who doesn't care. 2) When you put down your deposit, do it w/ a credit card or you won't see it again...we took 12 guys and those who paid credit got it back, those that did cash didn't. 3) While the entire beach is a party, make sure you hit up Coca Cola beach at the south end...if you are staying up north (i.e. the Bahia mar) get your ass down there even though it's a long walk. So that's my input, great place to get wasted and meet ladies!

The beach itself is great. ONE IMPORTANT REMINDER: Do not use www.pirentals.com or Padre Island Rentals to book. I booked for Aquarius for $970/4-nts then I asked to move to Bahia Mar which was around $1270/4-nts. They offered Saida Towers for the Bahia Mar price since Bahia was booked. When I got home, my bill was $1560/4-nts -- the actual Saida Towers published rate. Up to now, none of those lying fat pigs at front desk and reservations would like to acknowledge and correct the issue. Other than these pathetic dollar-faced low lives, the place is an absolute charm.

A fun place to go. Nice beaches and the weather is always nice. Beautiful scenery and lots of people to meet.

I don't care what you plan for Spring Break, scrap it and go to Texas. South Padre knows how to party and they don't need MTV Spring Break to help it out. It is a crazy time.
