The Answer seems to enjoy coach O'Brien's running game. Iverson will always be considered an MVP candidate because every year since 1999, he's led the league in scoring. His beloved Sixers can only go so far as Iverson takes them.

As a huge Sixers fan, I'm biased. But that doesn't change the fact that AI has had by far his best year this year. So if you agreed with his 2001 MVP selection, there's no way he shouldn't be MVP this year. Won the scoring title. Lead the league in steals. Top 5 in assists. If he comes out of the game - even for a minute - his team collapses. He won't get the MVP as the Sixers are only just better than mediocre this year, but there is no more valuable player to his team than Allen Iverson.
