If you are a single male there is none better.

This is one nasty,party beach that in my opinion does not even belong anywhere on this list.

Copacabana is the third nicest beach.........in Rio (after Barra and Ipanema). You can tell that this was once a fantastic beach; it is wide, set nicely in front of an impressive array of hotels and restaurants, and book-ended by Rio's fabulous green mountains. However, in recent years it has become dirty and sleazy. And whatever you do, don't go to Copacabana looking for nighlife unless you want to mingle with hundreds of prostitutes. All that being said, if you are in Rio you should check it out. After all, it is the Copacabana.

A better beach in Rio is Barra de Tejuca, just south of Ipanema. That's where the locals go. The scenery is incredible.
