Hi5 is great and i have my old friends there. It has great security features and noone can view your page if you don't want other people other than your friend to view it. And there are great games and application like Vampire, Slayer, Photobuzz, Super Friends.
its a great site but the coding was little messed up. Like i was getting a 1 message everytime i logged on and there wasn't a message. It has fixed it now.

Its great that noone has produced any software for hi5 otherwise someone would send a lot of spam to all.

I had an account for a while because one of my friends from high school sent me an invitation, but I eventually either just stopped using it entirely or deleted my account (I honestly don't remember which) because there really just isn't much there. While I knew a few people on there, there really wasn't much of a point to the site. It was just a mess of friend invitations from bots and webcam girls. hi5.com is an entirely useless site.

Realistically, I'd give this one 2-3 stars, as I find it fairly dead vs the others I've participated on...just not much going on there from what I can tell. Not many interesting features, and some big limitations too. A fairly large one is that it lacks audio capabilities so there's no music featured. Another is that Hi5 deletes your comments on any forum after 90 days, so there's little record of what was posted and on any topic...on those less frequently visited there are zero posts because of this! Also, when another person responds to something written on a group you belong to, you aren't notified about it, unlike Orkut or Myspace. For these reasons and others, Hi5 is definitely in a level below of some of its competitors.

hi5 is just gr8, for meeting new friends and findin old ones. i found a crush who'd gone missin for 12 years and the network is just great, you find that some friends know mutual friends u didn't know they knew. with sneak peeks into people's minds through their journals and getting to know what others think about your friends. it's great, really
