 | cityfaces (0) 12/29/2006 | Blissful from the moment I walked in! Novella's exotic & peaceful decor mimics the luxurious spa treatments they offer. My first visit to the spa I indulged in the soothing hot stone massage--cozy, toasty & relaxing. For my 2nd visit I pampered my self with the Ayurvedic 4-hand massage (2 massage techs massaging at once). I was first given a calming foot/leg massage & tea service before the Ayurvedic 4-hand session. The tea was luke-warm & not as tasty as the tea I was given on my first visit to the spa. After my 4-hand rub down my body was like butter & my mind clear & tranquil. I felt carefree all day after I left Novella & will return for a 3rd visit in the future. I'll just have them steep & heat the tea longer! I may even purchase one of their beautiful & unique imports on my next trip.

 | speedkitten (2) 09/19/2005 | I had a facial here. The facial itself was good - and the service was BAD. Here's what happened... I was receiving the Basic Facial then Maria, the Aesthetician, said I could get an add-on called the Luminous C which would be an additional $10 more (the Basic Facial is $95). I said okay - that sounds good. I come out to pay to find my bill was $95; I explained to the front desk gal that I actually owe $10 more because I had the Luminous C added. The front desk gal said no, you owe us $20 despite the fact that I was mislead by Maria. The front desk gal would NOT budge and Maria was no where to be found. That's just bad service no matter how you look at it - you should not mislead honest customers.
