Olde English is not for the light hearted. Here in SoCal we get the 7.5%. Olde E 800 is one of my favorite malt liquors because it gets me buzzed, its cheap, but it doesn't taste bad to me like many cheaply made malt liquors. Although it is very smooth, I wouldn't drink this stuff everyday, but for what it is, I give it 4.5 stars.

Like pretty much all brands of malt liquor, this is just porch climber. The proper etiquette when serving this to you friends is to leave it in the bag, and wipe off the neck before passing it along.

OE, another fan favorite, but just not quite at the level of Billy Dee and his drink (sorry OE, just my opinion). It does taste better than most malt liquors though, so good for OE!

Bought a quart for rating purposes. Wished I hadn't . Ended up diluted for lawn treatment. It didn't seem to kill the nightcrawlers. Must be O.K.

Very sweet tasting malt.  Not as refreshing as the others in its class.  There are worse out there.

One of the best tasting malts, but not enough kick and just a tad too expensive (1.99 40oz vs. O.E. which is usally 2.50)

5 stars for good style, good buzz and decent taste (for a malt liquor) The king of malt liquor. This is for the 8% ABV CandianVersion. Never tasted the East or West US ones.

Olde English 800 isn't really that bad, but it isn't that great either. You have to get it cold and drink it that same day, If you don't drink it that same day, whether you leave it unopened in the refrigerator or not, It is kinda nasty. But I don't drink it that much because it kinda feels like my teeth are going to rot. Bonus points go for being one of the Tru legendary gangsta malts.

Olde English is the brew that really get you goin.It has a great taste and leaves you feelin great.never drink it warm.
