Hell of a fight, with two very similar guys in the ring, both courageous, both fierce and neither believing in quitting. I'd give it to Chacon, but that may be an old man talking.

This would have been like fighting a mirror image of each other in terms of heart, style and blood and guts. Chacon probably had better overall skills, at least in his prime, and Gotti has improved as boxer over the last couple of years. A toss up, with the fans winning big time. Most sports writers generally refer to Gotti as the Bobby Chacon of his era, and Chacon as the Gotti of his day.

Bobby Chacon, was in some sense, the original Arturo Gatti:He could box,but was always just an invitation away from a street fight. Though, both he and Gatti probably each had more classic fights at 130(and may have a better fight at that weight),they would probably have a good time with each other at 135,too.
