I started going to Dr. Chavez over 15 years ago, before she opened Carillon Family Practice. I have moved about an hour away and have no problem making the drive to see Dr. Chavez. She has gone above and beyond what I would expect from a physician. She's kind, caring, listens to all of my questions and/or concerns and she doesn't rush through the appointment like most doctors I've met. Everyone at the practice is professional and knowledgable and really seem to enjoy working there, even when putting up with me! :) In general, this is an awesome dr's office!

I would never recommend them! This practice values its own policies over the health of its patients.

My husband is a patient there, and I had a new patient appointment for next week. I have strep throat and two kids under 2 years old, one of whom is still breastfeeding. I called and explained my situation. They wouldn't see me unless I had a new patient establishing appointment first. They recommended I go to urgent care. When I showed up at the office (after going to urgent care), I asked if they could fit me in for an ill appointment which they refused to do because I hadn't yet had a new patient appointment---which was scheduled for next week. They didn't say they couldn't fit me in. They only said that they wouldn't see me because I didn't have a new patient establishing appointment first. Even though I had one scheduled. We've already agreed that I could be a patient there, but they wouldn't see me when I was sick. What kind of doctor's office does this?

Our family of seven has been seeing Dr. Annette Chavez since before she opened Carillon Family Practice. As well as being a very experienced and capable physician, she is a warm caring person with a relaxed demeanor, who makes you feel at ease, no matter why you're there.
