Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland with an estimated population of 365,000 residents. Zurich is Switzerland’s main commercial center, and was the home of the Dada Art Movement, which began in 1916. Zurich is situated near Lake Zurich and the Limmat River runs through it. Zurich is a banking center, and many international, private “Swiss” bank accounts are located there. Tourist sites include: St. Peter, the largest clock face in Europe, Fraumunster, and Landesmuseum, the Swiss National Museum. (Add picture)

Conway's comment about affordability and nightlife stunns me about as much as does Eric's geographical missconception. To Conway, Zurich has for as long as I can remember been ranked amoungst the top five most expensive agglomerations/cities globally. As for the nightlife, have you checked out Zurich Nord or just stuck to the trapled path? Eric I suggest takes another look at the map & think again. 'EU' is a political term wheras 'Western Europe' geographical. Now Eric try again, wher is Switzerland on the map?

Very affordable. Friendly people. This is more a destination for the sights rather than the nightlife.

I give it 1, because the category is "Western Europe Cities". You can't call a non-EU-city for "western Europe". Sorry! :o(
