Being from Alabama, I've been closely following the case of the missing high school girl from Mountain Brook. My advise is don't rush to judgement about Aruba until this case is resolved. Remember she could have come to harm anywhere. She would have certainly been in more danger in New Orleans or Florida.

I went to Aruba last year on a 10-day Carribean Cruise and I thought it was the best destination. I went shopping in Oranjestad and it was pretty clean and i liked it a lot. I would recommend you got o Aruba if you are looking for a very nice place to go!

This was our third time visiting, it won't be our last. We discovered Windy's Watersports for snorkling. Windy and Rene are great, we spent the whole day out on the water. Also bought gear at their new shop!!Find out more on aruba4you.com. Piamento resturant also a treat. We have learned not to go "downtown" on Thurs. and Fri. when the ships come in. Amigo car rentals were economical. No need for a car for the whole time..use the buses. We also like the Petite Cafe, food served on hot marble... Amstel Bright(not Light) served with fresh lime...Great...

The most relaxing vacation ever. Beautiful water and gorgeous beaches, friendly people. No one was EVER in our faces trying to sell us anything. Not exactly a lush tropical island--more like a desert with great beaches. Great food!!

Aruba is a beautiful place and the snorkeling is amazing in its waters!
