I used Cunningham Moving on a move from San Francisco to Portland in early 2007. There were many problems. They arrived an hour late at my apartment in San Francisco and packed and loaded a one bedroom apartment in about 6 hours without incident. The elderly driver couldn't seem to find my place in Portland though so I had to drive to his location on the side of the road and have him follow me. We then had to wait over an hour for two guys from another local moving company to come help.When I received my initial estimate I had asked for help unpacking, but when the driver arrived he told me it was not in the estimate. They set up my bed and helped me hang a mirror, but that was all. Two of my items were damaged and the movers never said anything to me. This was discovered after they left. I've called the Paul Arpin claims department (who Cunningham uses), but they have failed to return my call to date. Most disturbing is that several boxes of kitchen and bath items are missing and Cunningham Moving has no explanation as to what happened to them (guess they fell off the truck?). Cunningham Moving is not great at responding to problems once they've got your money. This was one of my worst moves and I CANNOT give a recommendation to this company.

Cunningham Moving and Storage is one of the most porofessinal companies I have worked with. They have moved me twice within SF and moved family antiques from Northern Ca to SF with expertise and aplomb. I have great respect for the company.
