The airport code POS is right. It is exactly that. The fellow below me could not have hit the nail on the head any more. Avoid this dump like the plague.

Must visit and have a local friend take you around,its a much different experience than going alone. Also it depends when you visit.

i visited trinidad and port of spain is a real ghetto. constant harrasment and bad people.some of the city looks decent but its nothing compared to the culture and lights kingston, jamaica

I just got back from Trinidad, had a great time! Stayed at the Royal Palm Hotel which is near to 2 great shopping malls and several restaurants.

I have always loved Trinidad for it's rich culture and sweet sounds of the steelpan.
