You can't stay on horseback for very long or some tender parts of your body become very red and sore. The cowboy does hard and dangerous work. The modern cowboy has it a little better driving his iron pony.

No way. Dirt, dust, rustic living conditions. I can't even stand surfing by the western channels on cable.

Being a cowgirl is hard work and if I have to morph and be stuck in a book as something I don't want to have to work too hard at it. However, you do have the perk of meeting cowboys which is always a plus.
