You know, so-called "Prince of Darkness" (and I really have to question why you'd WANT to be known as that, other than for self-promotional purposes), you can drop the "F bomb" all you want...it lost all its shock value YEARS ago and it sure as hell does NOT make you any more talented than you already are not...

His solo career, especially the early part, is almost as influential and timeless as his early work with Sabbath and that says a lot!

While Ozzy may be a shell of what he once was and admittedly not the best singer in the world, this guy is the king of metal. He has sung some of the alltime greatest metal classics. He definitely belongs in the Hall.
STYXr4kidz 04/24/2008
frigin joke, thank god SABBATH is already taken care on, now let's get DEEP PURPLE in the HALL.
chrismin2003 03/13/2008

Let's not get carried away with Ozzy!

Ozzy deserves to be in the Hall Of Fame. Quit passing him over. Ozzy and Randy Rhoads built heavy metal from the ground up. He is the Godfather Of Metal.

The metal bias will definitely keep him out. Even then, he had some very good albums in the 1980s, but when your biggest hit is "Close My Eyes Forever", you're not getting in.
holter61 01/17/2007
If you put ozzy outside of his home without a blind-fold and spun him around 2 times you think he could find his way home? what a dreg

The OZ man belongs! He rocks and there is no denying that!

He may have had his finest day with Sabbath, but while they receded into obscurity, his career flourished.Sure,he put out some flabby albums-but he also put out some great tunes and hooked up with incredible musicians like the late Randy Rhoads & the electrifying axe man Zakk Wilde.I saw him back in the day (77) with Black Sabbath-and it's one concert I'll never forget!

Let Ozzy in!!!!!!!!!!!
souljunkie 08/25/2005
The father of heavy metal. In my estimation Sabbath was his baby and he has done some great stuff on his own. Part of his greatness was his ability to find cutting edge guitar players. That was no accident. His recent media shows his human side and yes he has issues, but you cannon deny his music or his vision. Metal Gods like Judas priest and Motorhead would have never seen a hay day without Ozzy. By all means he should be in.

\m/ OZZY IS GOD!

Grudgingly. It is true his solo stuff offered more variety and I used to like Dairy Of A Madman and Bark At The Moon when I was younger. Worse artist could get in so I'll accept.
sfalconer 07/03/2005
Some of Ozzy's best music have come from his solo efforts. He has shown way more depth and has done so much for music with Ozz fest and he is no slouch and finding new talent to back him up. Ozzy deserves to be in Hall Ozzzzzzzzzzzzzzyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!
journey2006 05/06/2005
OZZZZZYYYY!!!!
doobiesNhof 04/25/2005
He was best with Black Sabbath with some success solo. Black Sabbath is definitely deserving of RRHF but Ozzie by himself may be a stretch.
