Bad!

Turning more into a music site then "friends" site. I get requests for friends from musical groups from all round the country and world. I like it for that since I get to hear so many different kinds of music, but I don't think that's what Myspace started out to be, but it's not all that bad either.

I used to like myspace and then facebook emerges with its much more mature attitude. I feel that myspace for too commercial for its own good. I know that we can't escape that, but as it became more commercial the more phishing attacks hapened. I do like the fact that you can personalize your profile pages, but also realize that 90% of the members don't know how to use HTML code, so you get a big mess of HTML and blinking words! The music aspect of myspace is a plus, but now I don't even have to login to listen to a profile page so I can do it without an account. I think myspace got pretty trashy, and I avoid at all cost.

My space is a good website in the case of Blogging. For Social networking also it is worthful. In all over the world it is the website which is more popular.

I had an account at myspace and someone was able to log-in in it and posted his picture and his favorite music collection. I had reported it and I was instructed to follow their guide in using a new password but after a week or so, I was no longer able to log-in there. I can't access my account and I lost tract of my posted articles there.

Myspace is a great place to keepin touch and connect. The down side is there are way to many people on here that are wayyyy to young or adults that have no business talking to children underage.

Great place for anyone. people can promote, find friends, keep up with old friends and their favorite bands singers and what not.
They are good if you are promoting your band, products or anything.

If only my parents would let me get one. Overall, from what I know its pretty good.

I'm a teenage girl so Myspace is like air to me. You do lose interest after awhile.
I think it's so big because of all the music though.

i'm not so comfortable with the layout and designs. isn't so tidy for me although the features are nice, including that you can make band profiles and stream music. but i have another one to call my favorite ^^

Do not like the advertisement on MySpace compared to Facebook. I prefer Facebook overall. I think the layout is much cleaner and easier to navigate. MySpace might be for some but the Facebook crowd is for me.

I remember being a freshman in high school when word of this magical website came into my life. It was cool at first. Being able to express yourself on a webpage...not a new idea, but a practical one. I enjoyed being able to find old friends and keep tabs on my family spread across the country. But then...came the annoying parts. All the 14 year old girls looking doe-eyed into their bathroom mirror with the camera held up by their face. Their sweet little faces ringed in racoon-eye makeup, their barely post-puberty bodies barely hidden beneath teensy little tank tops their mom bought them at Abercrombie. And that's just the start. Trying to gather as many friends as possible to be cool, whether you ever talk to them or not. Those damn chain bulletins about a 7 year old girl-zombie coming to eat your face unless you re-post it within 5 minutes. And worst of all...people commenting on your page like this, "hey sexy, thanx forr the add! Plz go comment on my pics and i will retrn the favrrrrrr, luvz ya!" BLAH.

I have been a member of myspace for many years now, and I have both a personal and musician profile, it is very good for keeping in touch with friends as well as networking and promotions.

I think that Myspace should work a lot when it comes down to their security. I have a Myspace and I'm constatly getting messages that tell me to change my password. I was constantly noticing that there were things posted under my account, that I personally hadn't posted.
But in the positive side it was a great place to keep communication with my friends.
