I'd hate to say this, since I'd like to think the best of everyone, but honestly, I don't see the majority of people as honorable. Many times, doing the honorable thing is ridiculed, since often there is no self-gain in doing it. They might SAY that they'd do the right thing, but when the moment comes, it's all about covering your own butt. Honor is a rare thing to find.

I hold honor in high esteem. Unfortunately not everybody does. This should be first and foremost in selecting friends and spouses. Conversely, a man (or woman) with no honor is not even worthy of my contempt.
