great song. originated by Liza Minelli and another version by Frank Sinatra. both did a good version. I like Liza and her strong voice a bit better. I like the lyrics and the melody is terrific one of those show stopper type songs.

I love New York City, and I love Sinatra's singing. The Yankees are wearing this song out, playing it after every home game as the crowd exits. For awhile, they played Sinatra's version when they won and Liza Minelli's version when they lost, I think. Wasn't the loss punishment enough?
