I think Tony Bennett owns this;for a great jazz version of it,check out the 'I Left My Heart in San Francisco' cd by the great pianist Red Garland.

Oh, how I miss this city! This one sometimes makes my eyes water as such a beautiful city is dedicated by this song. Nobody should duplicate Mr. Bennett -his voice is perfect for this anthem.

My favorite city anthem, Tony Bennett's mellow, soothing voice fit this song like a glove. His trademark song, so much so that nobody else can sing it without being booed off the stage.
