06/07/2005 | NEWER UPDATE: OK, I was wrong. I'm a terrible prognosticator. I thought the Heat would pull it off. Now that the Pistons are in the Finals and taking on the Spurs, I'm gonna pick Detroit to beat San Antonio in 7 games! Yep, I said it. If Detroit can beat Miami twice on the road, then they sure beat San Antonio on the road. ... NEW: I'm picking the Heat in 7. But I betcha that the refs will dictate the series and allow the Pistons to overtake the Heat in the series. Only because Detroit is a bigger market team and the Commissioner likes Detroit better. OLD: As long as Larry Brown is coach, his team is always in the hunt. This team has tons of pride and they're not gonna concede their crown without a fight.
