Karachi is located on the Arabian Sea, and its terrain is described as primarily flat with hills in the north and west. The climate is mild in the winter and humid in the summer with the tail ends of the Monsoon passing through. Karachi also has two major rivers, The Malir and The Liyari, running through it.
