Great film on so many levels; a straight history of the fight, a character study of the fighters, obviously more attention on Ali because of his stature at the time of the fight, a great period piece about the early days of the global media culture, a slice of groovy 70's black culture.  Excellent viewing, not just for fight fans or members of the Ali Cult but movie afficianadoes too.

Very well made documentary about the "Rumble in the Jungle" fight between Ali and Foreman.  A little light on the boxing, but very good on the run up to the fight and the political and social overtones.

Foreman vs. Ali tends to be overrated.A few fights down the road,Foreman was conventionally outboxed by Jimmy Young and retired;Ali also should've retired after the Young fight.In any case,he lost to Leon Spinks,who only had a handful of professional fights at the time. It's fun-and sad(even for a non-Ali fan)to watch Ali shoot off his big mouth.Since then, Foreman,has become the World Comeback champ of the last century.
