It has small town charm with a community feeling, but still has enough shopping and business to round it out as a great place to live and visit.

Christchurch is pretty much what one would expect from a city of a hundred thousand. There is little outstanding about it, but it is a good location to stage exploration of the south island's stunning attractions check out the Banks Peninsula whilst you're there - the town of Wainui is very nice indeed.

A nice place to visit. (Not crazy about accents though!) New Zealand is a beautiful country - you can't go wrong.
