Obnoxious idiots---trash talking before every game,regardless of how bad they are. And let's face it, usually they are pretty bad. Their fans are incredibly rude to visiting fans, absolutely no class whatsoever. But hey, it's Ames Iowa, so I guess we can't expect too much. Only good thing about the program is Dan McCarney, who seems like a genuinely good guy.

Overall college ratings have ISU rated highly in areas such as on and off-campus living, food, transportation, night life, dormitory layouts, and net accessibility. Ames is a quiet twon with a great college sports system and one of the most notoriously loyal fan bases in the nation.
