Fans are good - you can be a visitor as I have been many times and enjoy some fun with the home fans without fights and bad words. Sells out quite often but holds a low number of fans. They stay till the end, even when losing (as they did to the Tigers this year) and are still fun to be around after a loss.

Even as a Tar Heel, I have to give State fans credit for usually being extremely supportive yet realistic. This applies to both football and basketball. The classiness of State fans has improved over recent years as well. Nevertheless, State fans loss at least one star for many continuing to see the Valvano era as the good ole years when he was largely responsible for the subsequent fall and current state of the basketball program.
