Wake fans have historically been a bit apathetic (at best) and pessimistic (at worst). Even when the school has competitive teams, they never get as excited as they should and always predict eventual failure (ie the Deacon Blues). The problem may be lack of numbers. Someone once told me that North Carolina (for instance) has more current students than Wake has alumni, so perhaps that is the reason.

Just ok fans...would be louder if they actually bought tickets. I went to the VT Wake game and there were more tech fans!
