As spokes-beings, they were nothing special, although they were far better than the gang they replaced, the ill-conceived Keebler Orcs.

My dad worked for Keebler's for 30+ years. I can tell you that anytime I visited the factory, I did not see a single elf (although my dad's boss -- at 5'-5 -- came close).

They are a good spokesgroup, but I haven't been seeing them on TV lately.
