Even MTV2 doesn't play videos half the time. And when they do its two videos and 5 minutes of commercials. Who watches MTV?

I was so disappointed when my DISH Network was installed and I finallt got to check out MTV2. To my understanding, MTV2 was more like the original MTV, showing mostly music videos. It's just the same crap they have on MTV at different hours of the day. What is the point?

Why is King of the Courts in this channel? That has nothing to do with music at all! When I tune into this channel, I see nothing but non-music related crap such as King of the Courts , The Andy Milonakis Show, Wildboyz, etc.! If they don't show variety music videos. MTV and this channel should be shut down.

This channel sucks big time!

Even worse than the original. No offense to African-Americans, but the only music they show (which oddly enough is in the middle of the freakin' night) is rap or hip-hop. You know... there is still white people in these United States that like to see some good ROCK!!! Give me a break this channel is a even worse shadow of the already horrible MTV.

no one needs another mtv, keep it to one channel.

Where is the music?

MTV2 doesn't show much music either! Just more reality junk and stupid re-runs of creatively-barren programming like Beavis and Something-Head.

Anything MTV needs shut down.

It started out great, just like MTV1, but now they've focused on mainly rap and have begun to suck badly. May as well bag it MTV and save yourself the money.

They need to focus on the rock and a whole lot less on the rap..that's what MTV Jams is for!

MTV has another channel?

I liked it when they showed videos from different genres and different years. But now they are showing the programs that USED to be shown on MTV. I thought the whole point of MTV2 was to show non-stop videos like its "parent" used to do. When did that change? And more importantly, why? Did kids complain about seeing videos that were popular when their parents were in high school and that they wanted to see the "cool" stuff?

MTV2 now is what MTV was then in the 80s, all about the music. I believe the mother station should take some pointers.

They couldn't fit all those crappy rap videos on one station, so they had to start another one. I would rather listen to stray cats and dogs howl outside my window than listen to that junk.

Man, this channel is awesome. It would even be more super if it only played "rock"...none of this bs they try to play today. I also see that there trying to bring back "unplugged". man that was the $hiz back in the day. but now. it sucks. they should just dedicate it to just back in the day rock since the channel seems to make shows low budget anyways...heahahawwhwhw...peace, love, empathy

Way better than MTV. It is just like it is supposed to be 'Music Television', not this Real World-Road Rules-Hip Hop-TRL-crap that is on MTV now. MTV2 is all about the music, like it should be.

Even though I dont get it anymore, I like it more than I like regular MTV. It shows vids all the time, doesnt have soo many shows, & it also gives new artists, & bands air time. Im not saying the original MTV is bad, I watch it sometimes, cause its starting to show more of the music I like, but I still like MTV 2 more. :)

Terribly bad station only showing rap 24 hrs a day.
