09/11/2006 | I bought a book online and they got my CC#. Then said they already sold it. It's still there. Now I have to report it to my CC company and change the card. Stay away from online business at the least.

03/09/2006 | This store is located on the third floor of a building on Mission Street. You have to ring to get in. The secret password is "Trotskyism to go."
When you go upstairs you'll find it somewhat disorganized, with piles of books on the floor in places, sometimes stacked half way up towards the vaulted ceilings. The owner is a character with as many wisecracks as an east Indian waiter. The collection is unique, mostly focused on political history. They also have a collection of political pamphlets dating back to the 19th century, with old copies of The Nation, The Masses and various bohemian periodicals of the early 20th century. There is no other place like it on the face of the Earth.
