01/29/2005 | Upon walking into this seemingly classy store and inquiring about a top in the window, my friend and I were very rudely told that it cost $110, as if to suggest we could not possibly afford it and should therefore cease to be treated with any shred of dignity. The two women then proceeded to whisper audibly to each other while we browsed. This is the least classy behaviour I have ever encountered in a Noe Valley store, and I do not find it suitable for our neighborhood. And for what it's worth, I could have easily afforded the top, but I will never go in that store again and I have already told all my friends to avoid it as well. Now I understand why there's usually no one in there anyways.
