I am not saying everyone is judgemental, but I think it is a natural thing with most humans, especially with us people on Rate-It-All...we have to be a little judgemental to review people, places and things sometimes and I don't see anything wrong with it as long as you don't intentionally hurt someone. It will happen sometimes unfortunately when you love to rate and review, it is just something we do as reviewers. Or maybe judgemental is the wrong word?

Common and underrated. . .I despise those who claim that "you shouldn't judge". . .of course you should. . .it doesn't mean you're right, however. . .

I don't think that everybody does this negatively, like judgemental is usually used by us. However, we all judge other people. It is how we learn to identify ourselves. We cannot get a good grasp on who we are, unless we are able to judge those people around us.

Being judgemental is actually a good trait in a person. There is however good judgement and bad judgement. We use judgement every day of our lives to make decisions that affect out own lives and the lives of our family. For instance, your sweet sixteen year old daughter is going out on her first date and the guy that's picking her up looks like the gangbanger from hell, in fact you're sure he's the guy you saw on America's Most Wanted last night, well if your anything like me, you're pulling the plug on that date right then and there. That's good judgement. If you let her go out with that guy that would be an extreme case of bad judement. Bad judgement also includes judging someone on their race, ethnicity or backround and ACTING on it without any more knowledge then what is in front of us. We are allowed to have opinions and to make decisions based on those opinions. But if we act in a way that hurts people that would be, to me, bad judgement.
