The grand daddy of modern sci/fi movies, this really brought the genre back to life and finally gave sci/fi fans a quality feature length film. The effects that were used to make Star Wars was the ground work of a lot of the effects used today. Just think no Star Wars, no Raiders of the Lost Ark and no Pixar, to name but a few. Star Wars is monumentous moment in the history of motion pictures.

I can tolerate all of them, but I especially love the original three, and I think ROTS is good also. The first two are all right, but not great.
