07/08/2005 | Jeep is the only real 4 wheel drive made for driving like a 4 X 4 on and OFF the road. When the others have lost parts, the Jeep keeps going. Just take a look at old CJ-5's, CJ-7's, and Cherokees that are still running around on AND OFF the road when the competition is in the junk yards. The Cherokee can be sleeper in that it will outdo just about anything but a more serious jeep, but with air conditioning and more comfort. CJ-5 is the best partially due to the V-8s available.
