08/17/2005 | What good for the game of basketball does an 18 year old kid do sitting on the bench for 2 years? Of course there is one exception, Lebron. But imagine how great it would be watching hime make a run at the final four against Melo and the Syracuse. It would be like Bird and Magic. Since when is forcing someone into a free education a bad thing? 2 biggest pluses are increased talent and depth in the college game, and players are more prepared for life and basketball when they get to the NBA.
