1987-1989: Spuds McKenzie, the English Bull Terrier who wore sunglasses and a smile, was the "Ultimate Party Animal"; Spuds, whose real name was Honey Tree Evil Eye (a female), died of kidney failure at the age of ten.

I liked the spoof of this campaign that ran in the Bloom County comic strip.

Studs goes to rehab. Funny stuff.
